The property is currently under construction so the view from the parking lot is not what it once was, and will be again, when the improvements are completed. I do like that you’re in the “ heart” of Chesapeake Beach with several restaurants within walking distance as well as a few fast-food places. We had a lovely view of Chesapeake Bay from our window!

The purpose of my trip was to relax by having a room with an ocean view from my room. The front desk receptionist Lisa greeted me with a smile, very helpful and provided exceptional customer service. My stay at the Rod N Reel Resort for my 54th birthday were great memories.

The location is amazing! The staff are very friendly, and high customer service. I love being able to walk to restaurants in town and other activities like the Lovely Art Gallery, the new French Bakery/Market, the great restaurant on the premises 1936.

Staff was nice. House keeper was sweet and seemed happy. Bed was comfy. However, there was no extra blanket or bed spread. It was fine though. I brought my own. The soaps in the shower were nice. Shower was great. Good water pressure.

Loved the overall environment, the atmosphere and on top of all the view! The books available at the lobby served as a good distraction while we waited for our room to be clean. It was worth the wait and the hospitality was pleasing.
